The Heritage Skills Association WA held its first workshop, on Historic Paint Analysis, Saturday 2nd April at the Collie Goods Shed.
Proudly supported by Dulux and sponsored by a Collie Future Funds Grant.
The workshop was coordinated by Dr Ingrid van Bremen and students participated from the UWA Post Graduate Conservation Architecture- course. Expert's Bill van Didden, Master Painter and Bart van Aller, Building Archeologist Historian, visiting from the Netherlands; were on hand to offer advice.
The workshop was part of the Heritage Skills Association pilot project on the Goods Shed in Collie, that they are working with key stakeholders, to address the lack of heritage skills training in WA.
